How Scoring Works

Each proposed meeting time receives a score out of 10 based on four weighted factors:

40% Availability: How many team members can attend during their normal working hours. The more people available, the higher the score.
30% Mid-day Preference: Favors times in the middle of the workday for each participant. Early morning or late evening slots score lower.
20% Fairness: Ensures no single time zone is consistently burdened with inconvenient hours. Distributes the discomfort evenly across the team.
10% DST Safety: Flags time slots where any team member's timezone has a DST transition within 14 days, reducing the risk of meetings being disrupted by clock changes.
